Your Profile page is where you manage your account details. Access it by clicking your avatar or user icon in the top-right corner of the header, then selecting Profile from the menu.
From the profile page, you can: - View your current account information (name, email, organisation). - Update your personal details. - Change your password. - See how your account is connected (e.g., whether you signed in via Google or with a username and password).
To update your name or email address:
Your updated details take effect immediately and are reflected across the platform — for example, in any reports you create or notifications you receive.
If you signed up with an email and password (rather than Google sign-in), you can change your password from the Profile page.
Note: If you signed in using Google or another external provider, your password is managed by that provider — you will not see a password change option on the Profile page.
The bell icon in the header bar shows your notifications. A badge appears on the icon when you have unread notifications.
Viewing Notifications: Click the bell icon to open the notifications panel. You will see a list of recent notifications, each with a title, message, and the date it was sent.
Notification Types: Notifications may include platform announcements, new feature alerts, maintenance notices, or updates relevant to your account.
Dismissing Notifications: Read notifications are automatically marked as seen. The notification badge clears once you have viewed your new notifications.
Notifications are checked regularly in the background, so new alerts appear without needing to refresh the page.
If you need assistance, GSCi provides several support options accessible from the help icon (?) in the header bar:
Knowledge Base — Browse tutorials and guides covering all areas of the platform. Articles are organised by category and cover everything from getting started to advanced data exploration.
Contact Support — Use the contact form to reach the support team directly. Describe your question or issue and you will receive a response from the team.
Terms of Service — Review the platform's terms and conditions.
The Knowledge Base is a great first stop for common questions — you may find the answer you need without having to wait for a response.
