1. Global Search in Depth

The Global Search dialog (Cmd+K / Ctrl+K) searches across 12 entity types simultaneously: Providers, Countries, Regions, Industries, Logistic Markets, Technologies, Thematics, News & Briefs, Software Vendors, Publications, Dashboards, and Sections.

Search Behaviour: - Minimum 2 characters required to trigger results. - Results are cached for 5 minutes — repeating a recent search returns instant results. - Results are grouped by entity type with category headings. - Entity type filter chips at the top let you narrow results to a single type.

Recent Searches: Your most recent queries are saved and displayed when you open the search dialog, letting you quickly repeat previous searches.

Saved Searches: Mark frequently used searches as saved for persistent quick access. Saved searches appear in a dedicated section of the dialog.

Section Deep Links: When you click a section result, the platform navigates to the parent entity page and scrolls directly to the matching section. You can copy and share these links with colleagues.

2. My Reports

My Reports (/my-reports) is where you create, manage, and organise custom intelligence reports.

Creating a Report: 1. Click the Add button to open the new report dialog. 2. Enter a report name and confirm. 3. The report is created and appears in your reports list.

Managing Reports: The reports page displays a data grid with your reports. For each report, you can: - View — open the report to read its contents. - Edit — open the report builder to modify sections and content. - Delete — permanently remove the report. - Star/Unstar — mark reports as favourites for quick filtering.

Report Builder: The edit page (/my-reports/{id}/edit) provides a builder interface where you can add sections from across the platform, write custom content sections, and reorder the report structure.

3. My Templates

My Templates (/my-templates) lets you save report structures as reusable templates.

Templates are valuable when you produce recurring reports — for example, a quarterly market review or a monthly competitor briefing. Save the structure once, then create new reports from the template each period.

Using Templates: 1. Create a report and organise it with the sections you need. 2. Save the structure as a template from the report builder. 3. When creating a new report, choose to start from a saved template instead of a blank report.

Templates preserve your section selections, ordering, and custom heading structure, saving considerable time on recurring deliverables.

4. Publications

Publications (/publications) is the platform's catalogue of analyst reports and research publications.

The publications home page features four category cards for quick navigation:

  • Ti Market Reports — comprehensive market intelligence reports.
  • White Papers — in-depth research and thought leadership papers.
  • Presentations — conference presentations and slide decks.
  • Logistics Trackers — regularly updated market tracking data series.

Use the search bar to find publications by name, author, or description. When searching, results are filtered in real time and displayed in a grid with category tags. Click any category card to browse publications within that category, or click an individual publication to access its download.

5. News and Briefs

News & Briefs (/news-briefs) surfaces the latest supply chain news articles and analyst briefs published on the platform.

Browsing News: - Articles are loaded using infinite scroll (12 items per page) — simply scroll down to load more. - The Filter Panel lets you filter by type (News or Brief), search by keyword, and set a date range. - Filter preferences are saved in your browser, so your selections persist across visits.

Viewing Articles: Click any news item to open the Update Details Dialog, which displays the full article content in a modal without navigating away from the list.

On Entity Pages: News and briefs content also appears in the Latest Updates tab on entity detail pages, filtered to show only articles relevant to that specific entity. This provides contextual news alongside the entity's core analytical content.
